Prescott Valley, AZ- What a night, 22 cars showed up, which was a record for the Copper State Mod Lites and put on an action packed night of racing!  We really want to thank our 4 Tucson cars that made the trip north to the cool temperatures, you guys are awesome!
The night started with a 4 car battle in the trophy dash. A.J. Martin passed the #19 going down the back stretch on the white flag lap. The 19 tried to set the 41 up coming out of 4 but was about a bumper short at the finish line. Congrats to AJ on winning the Flooring Shack Trophy/Cash Dash.

We had 3 action packed heat races with Tony Tony Martin winning heat 1, AJ winning heat 2, and #19 of Lance White winning his first ever Heat Race in #3!

The main was a challenge with 2 and 3 wide racing going on all over the track. AJ jumped out to an early lead but had trouble with lap cars just as Tony did when he took the lead. PJ Jinzo came up through the field again and was able to take the lead with Josh Rivera following close behind. Josh said he learned something, but was just not able to make the pass before the checkers flew. Pretty cool to see two young guns up battling for a win on a challenging track.

All in all it was some great racing from start to finish. All 22 cars made it to the main.  It’s pretty cool knowing we had 22 cars on the track and still have a handful of cars at home. We surpassed the 20 car mark and now setting our sights on 30 cars for an event!

We want to thank everyone that has helped make all of this happen in such a short amount of time. First our amazing sponsors The Flooring Shack and ChrisNema Hussey and his crew of great guys! Independence Home Remodel and the Michael S Ryan family, Martin Transport and the Tony Martin Family, Liquid Nitro and Ripps Napa and Rip Vache for his support of mod lites. Also really want to thank the tracks that support us and are supporting our growth Prescott Valley Raceway and Preston Bugs Norbury, Tucson International Raceway and Jamie Throckmorton, and Cocopah Speedway and Greg Burgess. Also a huge thank you to T-USA and Walt and Paul Klager.

Again congrats to PJ on his first Feature win!
